Tax Credits & Cost Recovery

You're probably owed money
for work you've already done.

Promoting Performance helps manufacturers, clubs, importers, and growing businesses claim the tax credits, refunds, and cost savings most never realize they qualify for — R&D credits, cost segregation, hiring credits, tariff recovery, and more. No cost to look, and an honest answer either way.

Where We Look

Where the money is usually hiding.

Each of these runs through licensed specialists — you get one honest point of contact, they handle the study and filing.

Manufacturers

R&D Tax Credit

Improved a process, tested new tooling or materials, or solved a technical production problem? That work usually qualifies — no lab required. Most manufacturers have never claimed it. Benchmarks run $20K–$40K per $1M of payroll, per year, and you can look back three tax years.

Property Owners

Cost Segregation

Own your plant, clubhouse, or facility — especially if you've built, bought, or renovated recently? An engineering-based study reclassifies building components to depreciate over 5, 7, or 15 years instead of 39, freeing up cash now instead of decades from now.

Seasonal & High-Turnover Employers

Hiring Tax Credits (WOTC)

Production hires, seasonal grounds and service staff, and other new W-2 employees may each be worth up to $9,600 in federal credits. The filing window is 28 days per hire, which is why most employers capture almost none of it.

Employee Health Cost Program

A non-insurance preventative care program that lowers employees' out-of-pocket costs for urgent care, behavioral health, and thousands of prescriptions — structured to land at roughly net-neutral cost to you, alongside your existing coverage.

Technology & Vendor Review

Technology, connectivity, and vendor contracts pile up fast, and pricing shifts more often than anyone reviews. Sourcing and negotiation are handled for you — a review typically surfaces savings at no cost unless something is found.

Tariff & Duty Recovery

After the Supreme Court struck down the IEEPA tariffs in 2026, duties paid on many 2025 imports became refundable — with statutory interest. Not every tariff qualifies, so the first step is confirming which of your entries are eligible. A specialist reviews your records and handles the claim; the window is time-sensitive.

About

Who's behind this.

I'm Josh Beaman. I spent most of my professional career in the manufacturing industry, and outside my full-time career I help business owners claim the tax credits and cost savings most never realize they qualify for.

I'm not the one performing the studies or filing the claims — that work is handled by licensed specialists and engineers in R&D credits, cost segregation, and tax incentives. My role is making the right introduction and staying involved to make sure it's handled well from start to finish. And about a third of the time, the honest answer is that there's nothing worth pursuing — I'll tell you that too.

If any of this sounds like it could apply to your business, the fastest way to find out is the 2-minute check.
